Scroll.girls
scroll.girls is a social media account focused on experimentation and long- distance collaboration. It’s a celebration of creativity through the eyes of two women in two different cities.
The account’s purpose is to have an open space that combines two viewpoints of two different designers. We are able to remix, collaborate, and create in tandem to tell our stories. By having an ever-changing topic we are able explore the differences and similarities between us. A few selections below...

TRANSPORTATION
We first started experimenting with the idea of transportation. At the time Chloe was living an hour and a half outside of Chicago and Abigail was living a 5 minute walk away from the office. This first theme plays off of the idea of how we were going to work to do the same thing, but we had very different journeys getting there.
TECHNOLOGY
We were interested in abstract concepts because we could translate them visually in many different ways. Both of us use technology to survive, but it's also how we create and what we use everyday. Taking that idea, we created a cohesive tech grid based on those abstract ideas.
WE MET
Believe it or not we started scroll.girls having never met in person before. After a year of knowing each other and 7 months of collaborating together we FINALLY MET IN BROOKLYN IN PERSON. We had a little impromptu photoshoot and re-mixed them to represent the 2 weeks we spent together.
SEASONS
I don't know about you, but fall is our favorite season. Both growing up in New England we had learned to love the fall, and always became upset when it was cut short by the first snow storm. We created a theme that represented fall and winter colliding, which at the time was happening in our respective cities.

ART GIRL PROBLEMS
This month we honored our art girl personas by remixing memes and classic art history pieces. Turning hilarious art girl struggles into real life problems. Whether that be sleep- critiquing in your dreams, or wishing you could command + Z your life.
